Social media can be a cruel digital world. It’s tough to scroll through your Instagram feed without being bombarded by photoshopped influencers selling you a diet pill that totally doesn’t damage your body image.

As a Gen Z-er raised on the internet, I know what it’s like to be heavily impacted by what I see on social media. In fact, when I was in middle school, I deleted my Facebook account, when I recognized how often it made me feel like absolute garbage. (FOMO sucks, dude.)

That’s why today, I only follow Instagram accounts that make me feel validated and informed (since Instagram is the social media platform I’m on the most). I mean, over 500 million of us spend an average of 53 minutes on Instagram a day. Don’t you think our feeds should spark joy and inspiration, not insecurity?

From illustrators to nonprofit organizations, here are 23 of the best mental health Instagram accounts that’ll make you feel less alone.
